About Priyanshu Banerjee
I am Priyanshu Banerjee an undergraduate student of History at Jadavapur University. I have an ardent fascination for the cultural and psychological demographics of ancient and medieval India. My main interest lies in exploring social and material culture such as clothing or traditional draping techniques, jewellery history, art and architecture (paintings, sculptures and monuments) and arms & ammunitions. I am also zealous about establishing a strong linkage between ancient mythology or traditional history (itihaas) and how it has shaped or influenced the history of the subcontinent politically, culturally and philosophically. I am both an admirer and an aficionado of Indian Mythology.
