About Priyansh Nagpal

Completed my Masters in Development Studies from Azim Premji University, Bangalore. Currently working as a Communications Lead at Involve. My Story : I have done my schooling from St Paul\'s School, Hauz Khas (with humanities as my stream) and the last 2 years of my schooling were the years which literally changed everything for me. I got into debating and started participating in many Model United Nations (MUN\'s) which eventually helped to improve my speaking skills. After completing my school, I took admission in IP University and pursued my degree in BBA but I realized I didn\'t want to do this and I decided to leave my college. Then, it was difficult to convince my parents that this is not something that I wanted to do but they fortunately understood me and I took a drop. Just when I decided that I didn\'t want to continue my bachelor\'s in BBA, I was lucky enough to grab a part time job in one of the leading sports brands of India,\'Decathlon\' which eventually helped me to take out my expenses and helped me financially. The very next year I decided that I wanted to go to Delhi University and took admission in College of Vocational Studies, University of Delhi. I decided that I will make most of this opportunity and was a part of different societies like Enactus, Green Brigade and the Department of History. It was just after 1 year of my graduation that I decided to leave Decathlon and decided to undertake a student exchange programme under AIESEC which eventually landed me in Poland. It was at this was particular point of time that I became very clear that I want to do something in the field of development studies or social sector. I was luck enough that I was awarded different positions of responsibility in my final year (President : The Time Travellers, The History society of CVS, Vice President : Green Brigade, The environment of CVS), what really becomes important to understand here is that it\'s the journey from my School to Delhi University which impacted me a lot, I have completely evolved as a person. It was in my final year that I started giving different entrances and I was fortunate enough to get selected in Azim Premji University. Throughout this journey I have always tried to help myself financially with the help of freelancing or different internships with a special interest in Social Media Marketing.
