I’ve been part of the Azure BCDR (Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery) team, where I’m learning how to build scalable, cloud-native solutions for backup and recovery. My work has primarily focused on vaulted backups for Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and improving resiliency around container workloads and disk backups. I\'ve had the chance to understand the core components of Azure’s BCDR stack and contribute to features that help customers protect their applications during outages. I’ve also started contributing to Velero, an open-source tool. Additionally, I’ve worked on triaging and resolving customer-reported issues, which has helped me grow my understanding of real-world distributed systems and cloud-native reliability challenges.
