ABOUT PRIYANK THAKKER
Hi, I’m Priyank Hemant Thakker. I hold a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, NJ and am an entrepreneur, and a Blockchain enthusiast. I have experience in mechanical design, streamlining processes, project management, balancing business/engineering requirements, and launching products in fast-paced environments. I\'m also interested in entrepreneurship, as I\'ve built a few of my own startup ideas.I have worked from Jacobs Engineering ( a fortune 500 consulting company) where I consulted on Oil and Gas projects from Marathon Petroleum and Exxon Mobil. Before this internship at Jacobs, I completed an Engineering co-op at the Industrial Assessment Center (IAC). I was testing, analyzing, and validating OEM IoT devices with various thermistors, thermocouples, and humidity sensors which could be used to gather data to a cloud and then submitted to an Energy portfolio manager to recommend changes to save on energy bills.IoT devices worked on- Inter-stacks, ABB, FADRS. I have been working for IMI, a multi-national deep in various sectors of industry. My focus was in work-holding and automation during my time at IMI Precision-Norgren. I designed, tested and managed operations for the Adaptix product, a state of the art in machine work-holding. I am now the Global Project Manager for the Retrofit 3D business under IMI Critical ( CCI) managing overseeing operations in US, Korea, and the MEAI region. Apart from my Academia and work experience, I am a certified LEED Green Associate professional who can design and be a part of teams to build sustainable structures and communities. I also hold the Lean six sigma Green belt which makes me help streamline processes and reduce redundancy and save the company time, money, and extra efforts.I, as an individual am never satisfied with the status quo and always am looking for improvement either in design structures, process or manufacturing stability, and costs.
