I lead security operations across a range of critical facilities including large distribution centers, middle-mile hubs, grocery fulfillment centers, and last-mile hubs. My responsibilities involve directing security services and safety functions to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements. This includes implementing security policies such as TAPA and BCMS, as well as standard operating procedures (SOPs) throughout Flipkart\'s operations. During major sales events like the Big Billion Day and Diwali Festival sale, I meticulously plan manpower and resource allocation to manage fleet operations efficiently. Collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including logistics and business operations, is crucial to ensure seamless supply chain management. My role extends to leading the security team within my area of responsibility, guaranteeing the safety and security of both employees and assets. This encompasses guarding governance, business continuity planning, crisis management, and conducting internal fire/safety and security audits. I also oversee the health and functionality of various security systems, including CCTV, intrusion detection systems, access control systems, and fire alarm panels. Additionally, I manage investigations into various types of fraud and incidents, liaise with government and law enforcement agencies when necessary, and focus on staff development through targeted training initiatives.
