About Priyanka Waghmare
Hello LinkedIn Family, Identifying myself as the first generation Media professional has largely shaped my aspiration and perspectives. Life has taught me to seek out opportunities. During my college days I also worked with B2B organisations and also gained experience of HR Executive. After graduation my dream finally came true when I joined my first Media Organisation. I worked with Republic TV as Trainee Reporter (Input Desk) for 1year. I was involved in managing the inflow and outflow of news. Planning and execution of news and designing the news bulletin. Apart from this, I was also involved in the operations of the Production Control Room (PCR), which included breaking stories, coordinating with reporters & lining up guests. Post that my career gave me great Opportunity. Joined CNN-News18 as Assistant Producer (Editorial Desk). As a Rundown Producer I ensured broadcast flow and consistency of live bulletins. The role also involved producing breaking news. Added stories and elements to make the broadcast more attractive. Team gave me opportunity to produce shows and work on Ticker Desk. Currently I’m working for ET NOW as Reporter and exploring the business world. Let’s see what I learn through this journey. Cheers!
