ABOUT PRIYANKA SINGLA
Having always been tilted towards the niche area of Indirect Tax litigation, I joined Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys in 2018 after my graduation, as an Associate. While I was with L&S, I handled drafting and litigation matters in respect of legacy laws (Central Excise, Service Tax, VAT) and Goods and Services Tax, before several forums, including High Courts, Tribunals and departmental authorities. I also worked on a few matters dealing with Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and Consumer Laws, which helped me broaden my horizons. Apart from litigation, I also worked on several opinions under the GST Laws. After having worked with L&S for almost 4.5 years during which time I was promoted to the position of a Principal Associate, I have started with my independent practice with a primary focus on Indirect Tax litigation.
