I am Priyanka Mangesh Mohite, an Indian mountaineer and a dedicated researcher in oncology. With a postgraduate degree in Biotechnology from the University of Mumbai, I balance my professional career with my passion for adventure and exploration.As the first Indian woman to scale Mt. Annapurna and Mt. Makalu, I am honored to have summited some of the world’s highest peaks, including Mt. Everest and Mt. Kanchenjunga. My journey has been recognized with awards such as the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award (2021) and the Shiv Chhatrapati Maharashtra State Adventure Award (2019).My achievements include: • 1st Indian woman who climbed five peaks, including Mt. Kanchenjunga, Mt. Annapurna1, and Mt. Everest. • Completing advanced mountaineering courses (Grade A) at premier institutes like NIM and HMI. • Rafting, technical climbs, and international summits like Mt. Elbrus and Mt. Kilimanjaro.Beyond mountaineering, I hold a Nrutya Visharad in Bharatnatyam and am passionate about sharing my story as a 5x TEDx speaker.
