Welcome to my LinkedIn profile! I am an accomplished research scholar with a Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, where I focused on the critical theme of internet governance within influential bodies such as the International Telecommunication Union and the United Nations Human Rights Council. My research delves into the intersection of digital privacy, surveillance, and their impacts on human rights and individual freedoms in our digitally-dependent world. My academic journey is enriched by a diverse background in journalism and East Asian studies, along with an M.Phil. in International Organization. Through interdisciplinary research, publications, and practical engagement, I have explored the interconnected issues of international relations, environmental sustainability, and human rights. I have also contributed to the Journal of Maritime Affairs with an article on the political economy of the Blue Economy. Professionally, I have applied my insights as a consultant at the World Sustainable Development Forum, writing informative blogs, developing impactful strategies and fostering youth involvement in climate change initiatives. I am skilled in data analytics, using tools such as Excel, SPSS, Power BI, and Tableau to enhance my quantitative research and support evidence-based policy formulation. My work in data science helps uncover complex data patterns, strengthening my research. Driven by a desire to expand my computational research skills, I am keen to master programming languages like Python and R. Additionally, I find intellectual and creative inspiration in Latin American and Russian literature, especially the works of Gabriel García Márquez and Fyodor Dostoevsky. Pursuing these same interests, I took creative writing classes with Gotham Writers and produced short stories. I am eager to connect with fellow professionals and explore opportunities to apply my expertise in international relations, digital rights, climate change and data analysis to foster innovative research and solution-oriented approaches.
