Hey! Do you know those people who are fascinated with coding and determined to understand how it all works? Yeah, I\'m one of them :) From writing code on paper to coding using Turbo C++ and SQL, from writing basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript to finally finding my niche. Mobile App Development.(When I first saw a video of Yigit Boyar in Android Dev Summit, I was so amazed that it blew my mind. Those guys analyzed the problem, brainstormed, and created such a powerful tool from scratch. At that moment, I knew I got to do this.) I started with Flutter(Dart helped as it was somewhat similar to C++ in syntax), which gives you an experience of creating innovative UIs and getting your app up & ready, in a super easy and fun way. Then, I delved into Android from basic XML and coffee-ordering app to using recycler views, databases, and Live data. I loved all the Android Developers Dev Summit videos and how they explain how they found the problem and built the solution for it. And finally iOS (still loving it here). iOS was new but when I dived in, it showed a new universe to explore. Taking the previous knowledge with me, here I got fluent in making good UIs, animations and working on complex API structures. These used a lot of background threading, dispatch groups, and many kinds of JSON-parsing. This ramped up my networking knowledge using GCD and Alamofire. Working on third-party services like Microsoft Azure, Firebase, One Signal(for push notifications), creating adaptive UIs, building good software practices(clean, less boilerplate, scalable, reusable) in code and lots of debugging/bug-fixing in existing applications is the best part. I learned a lot of things while working on live projects; how to manage code, branching, commenting(v.v.imp), communicating efficiently. Letting others know and ask for help when you get stuck. The most important one was that every problem has multiple ways to solve; you arrive there with patience and the right mindset. Along the way, my mindset became adaptive to analyze and solve problems accompanying client needs, business and technical issues. I understood the importance of understanding product requirements and dependencies. Software Development is a great thing to do!
