PGDAV college provides a supportive learning experience through extra and co-curricular societies and academic associations. One of its top ranking societies is Commercium. Commercium- The commerce society is the largest departmental society of PGDAV college and Top 8th best Commerce society across Delhi university. We have a team of more than 150 active members headed by 9 executives and altogether guided under the presence of respected teachers as convenor and co- convenors. The society provides a platform for the students to hone their academic as well as extracurricular skills through various seminars, intellectual quizzes and various fun activities. We organize many inter and intra college competitions throughout the academic sessions. The bar is set high by our flagship event YOUTH CONCLAVE, an event that promises to be the talk of the town in DU. With Youth Conclave we aim to bring together top professionals under one roof, who have carved a niche for themselves in their respective fields. Our annual event - COMMQUEST, is an attempt to familiarize the students with the real world and aim to nurture and explore the latent latent talent and skills of the students. The event witnesses participation from college students across Delhi NCR. It includes exciting events like mock stock, ad mad, esprit de corps, International monopoly, Bid Bowled and many more. All these events challenge the practical knowledge of students related to commerce field and even give them an overview of the corporate world.
