ABOUT PRIYAL AGARWAL
Diverse and passionate for philanthropy. My name is Priyal Agarwal, and I am a student at Indiana University Bloomington at the Kelley School of Business. I am currently planning to pursue a dual degree in Finance and Informatics. I like to promote diversity around the campus by joining cultural clubs like the Indonesian Student Association and am active in recreational sports like badminton. In the past, similar experiences, such as being as the officer of my high school’s cultural club and participation in several service clubs helped me develop skills around leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork. After growing up in Indonesia, I wanted to expand my opportunities, so I moved to the US to pursue my education in a ranked business school that aligned with my values in philanthropy and diversity. I am passionate about diversity, engagement in developing professionally and continuing to add value to collaborative teamwork. I am guided by my ethical principles and am committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment. Hence, I thrive in in situations where diversity of experiences are accepted and are appreciative of different perspectives. My personal values, skills, and interests around philanthropy, diversity, engagement, flexibility, adaptability, and teamwork, can complement organizations that look for individuals that can collaborate with others and focus on their work while giving their best. My short-term goals are to gain valuable experiences and knowledge within Indiana University and industry internships that will diversify my exposure to industry workings, culture, and fields. My long-term goals after college is to add value to an organization that develops their employees and promotes changes and ideas that can positively impact the community.
