I am a partner with Woodruff Sawyer, a full-service insurance brokerage. I work with public companies, fast-growing private companies (especially when undertaking an IPO, direct listing, or de-SPAC transaction) and SPACs. I am an expert in the area of director and officer liability risk and its mitigation. Leveraging my experience as a former corporate securities attorney as well as the chair of Woodruff Sawyer\'s D&O Claims group, I consult with clients on D&O insurance and corporate governance matters, including ways to reduce their exposure to shareholder lawsuits and regulatory investigations. I serve on the board of directors of public companies as well as the board of Woodruff Sawyer. My board work and client work enhance each other, strengthening the pragmatism and pattern recognition I bring to both roles.
