About Priya Bery
Priya’s work is dedicated to unleashing transformative change in the world. She brings together the best of the social sector and business sector to help people and the planet thrive. She is a strategist and advisor to philanthropists, brands and community organizations on social and environmental innovation. Her passion is driving strategy and building bridges to bring scalable solutions to tough global challenges - this often means forging unlikely marriages and brokering pathways to ensure the sum is greater than the parts. Priya currently works to scale the impact of the Pew Charitable Trusts through innovative resource mobilization strategies and partnerships with institutional and individual philanthropists to drive systems change across social, health, economic, climate and biodiversity priorities. Priya loves partnering with families to find their north star and shape their philanthropic strategies. As CEO of Tarsadia Foundation, a multi-generation family foundation, she shaped their approach to unleashing human potential through investments in inclusive mobility, food and housing security and human transformation. Previously she served as Founding CEO of SOHO Impact, a foundation focused on fostering creativity and activating next generation leadership. In her personal time Priya works to build a grassroots movement around \'Civic Living\'- the goal is to make social service and political action a core tenant of family life. Priya has partnered with iconic entrepreneurs and global leaders like Sir Richard Branson, Blake Mycoskie, Ambassador Richard Holbrooke and Senator Carl Levin to launch game changing campaigns and ventures like the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, The Elders, and the TOMS Social Entrepreneurship Fund.
