ABOUT PRIYA B.

Currently leading delivery for the Ministry of Transportation account at CGI in Edmonton, I manage our Application Maintenance and Support (AMS) team, secure funding for Time and Material (T&M) work, and ensure projects land on time, under budget, and (mostly) without caffeine-induced panic. My day job is a mix of delivery assurance, stakeholder wrangling, and keeping both customers and code running smoothly. In the last two years, I’ve managed over $1M in technical projects for my client. Some days I’m Clark Kent, other days I’m Batman—but either way, the cape stays on and the delivery gets done. I bring a cross-disciplinary lens to everything I do. While at CGI, I earned my MBA from the Alberta School of Business with a specialization in Sustainability (because if we’re going to build things, they should make the world better, not just more efficient). My MBA work included consulting on renewable power generation, regenerative construction design, social innovation in healthcare, and B Impact Assessments for startups. Basically, if it has a triple bottom line, I’m interested. Before all that, I worked in a family-owned business as a Design and Development Engineer in the process instrumentation industry—designing and testing pressure and temperature calibrators. I thrive at the intersection of tech, people, and purpose—especially when I get to bring systems thinking and sustainability into traditionally non-green domains.
