An Executive Assistant is the human equivalent to Swiss army knife for any organisation :)At Peak XV, I am proud to be part of a young spirited, vibrant, diverse and ambition driven 10 member team of legal Ninjas.Diarising appointments, planning impromptu work trips, vendor management, providing invoicing support to law firms are some of the regular features of my day. Organising offsites, events, milestone celebrations, planning a day out for the team members to unwind are the aspects that truly bring out my project management and execution efficiency skills and I enjoy being able to bring the different teams together for a non-work, all fun moments. Partnering with LPs, Founders, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and always upholding the brand image is critical to my role.One can’t stress enough about discretion and confidentiality and protecting information and assets in an otherwise dynamic, fast faced, competitive yet vulnerable venture capital environment. As an EA, it is incumbent upon me to safeguard all people and processes.Acting as a gatekeeper, putting out fires and returning to my schedule with ease, handling complex and sensitive situations with grace and tact, attention to detail, providing round the clock support so that my team can focus on not just incremental things but truly transformational stuff and help build companies that will outlast us all.
