At Blue Box, I’m leading the development of machine learning pipelines for early-stage breast cancer detection using proprietary VOC sensor data derived from urine samples. To overcome limited early-stage data, I implemented advanced data generation strategies inspired by CTGAN and VAE-based augmentation, while also evaluating low-data modeling approaches such as transfer learning and anomaly detection. I engineered and deployed a Random Forest model achieving 87.2% recall and 85.5% accuracy, leveraging wavelet denoising, normalization, and dimensionality-reduction techniques for robust signal processing. Throughout the project, I’ve collaborated closely with cross-functional teams to enhance model interpretability, refine experimental design, and ensure alignment with clinical deployment goals.
