ABOUT PRITY CHATTERJEE

I am a biotechnology enthusiast with a strong interest in applying bioscience to research, industry and real-world challenges.Currently, I am working on a DBT-funded research project at Banaras Hindu University (BHU).I completed my B.Sc. in Biotechnology from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, where my dissertation focused on “Purification and Immobilization of Serratiopeptidase.”I have worked on projects involving enzyme characterization and completed a Summer Training Program in Environmental Epigenetics at ICMR-NIREH, Bhopal. I gained hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques. I also completed a Winter Internship at the National Institute of Biologicals (NIB), Noida, focusing on Quality Control of Biologicals.In addition, I contributed to a book chapter on biohydrogen production, reflecting my interest in sustainable biotechnology solutions.My research interests include enzyme technology, molecular biology applications and cancer biology. I am passionate about advancing biotechnology research and contributing to innovations that address real-world biological and healthcare challenges.
