   I am working at ATANE Engineers since 2018 as a Structural Engineer. I primarily work in the Bridge Inspection Department performing Load Ratings for various clients. My work also includes structural design and preparation of structural drawings. My responsibilities and experience includes:1. Load rating analysis of bridges of varying complexity, materials and importance - simple and continuous spans; steel, reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, timber; bridges located on local roads, state routes and interstate highways 2. Analysis is done in accordance with AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation, AASHTO Load and Resistance Factor Design, AASHTO Standard Specifications as well as client guidelines3. Perform field investigation of bridges being analyzed as required by the client4. Retrieving information from RIDOT BrM, Inspectech, BDIS5. Software used: AASHTOWare BrR, MIDAS Civil 3D, CSI Bridge, STAAD Pro, MathCAD, MS Excel, AutoCAD.6. Design and preparation of structure drawings for bridge repairs - beam end repairs for shear and bearing strengthening, bridge railing repairs in accordance with AASHTO Load and Resistance Factor Design, AISC Steel Construction Manual and Standard Drawings7. Assistant Structural Engineer for Saw Mill Road Bridge in Guilford, CT - Designed, prepared cost estimate and structure drawings for simple span adjacent prestressed concrete voided slabs.
