As a Civil Engineer, I am actively engaged in a collaborative effort between Gondwana University Gadchiroli (GUG) and Vidarbha Irrigation Development Corporation (VIDC) to empower Water User Associations (WUAs) under the Gosikhurd National Project. My role focuses on the formation, strengthening, and capacity-building of WUAs by providing engineering expertise and technical support for irrigation management, infrastructure maintenance, and sustainable water usage. I contribute to strategic planning, irrigation system design, and implementation aligned with the MMISF Act of 2005, fostering community engagement and promoting equitable water distribution in the Vidarbha region. This project plays a crucial role in promoting participatory irrigation management and enhancing agricultural productivity in over hectares of the command area.
