About Prisha Gandhi

I am a project manager at Epic Systems and graduated from University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in Information Technology and Systems. Since childhood, I’ve always been interested in technology and have found the industry to be particularly fascinating. I also realized I had a knack for business when I founded Manvi, an innovative wood products company. I decided that I would combine both of my passions into one degree so that I could strive to reach my potential in both business and information technology. I have served in various organizations over the last few years, but Lessonologists and Silambam Houston, in particular, have had a huge impact on me. As the founder and former president of Lessonologists, I learned the value of clear communication and how to deal with difficult customers. As a student instructor at Silambam Houston, I improved my time management and leadership skills by being responsible for a children\'s dance class. Through my experiences with these organizations, I learned the importance of discipline and punctuality.I have always been a people person and have found teamwork to be important. This is useful in the information technology industry because teamwork is essential, especially in the workforce and with clients. Post-Graduation, I hope to work abroad at a start-up company before moving to a global technology company like Google or Apple.As I continue my academic journey and work towards my goals, I hope to expand my technical knowledge through real-life experiences and improve myself personally and professionally.
