As part of a collaborative development team, I contributed to building MaizeTix, a full-stack ticketing web application for university sporting events, along with its companion microservice MaizeTicketer, which interfaces with the Paciolan ticketing platform.Key Contributions- Developed and debugged frontend features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Django (MaizeTix)- Set up and configured a PostgreSQL backend with Django ORM and Stripe payment webhook integration- Built and maintained MaizeTicketer, a Node.js microservice that automates ticket transfers, game data retrieval, and Paciolan API interactions- Designed API endpoints for ticket transfer, status monitoring, and automated email handling- Worked with.env environments, secure API key headers, and multi-school configurations via JSON- Supported internal testing and deployment for over 250+ production pushes- This project strengthened my skills in full-stack development, API design, server integration, and microservice architecture, while also teaching me the challenges of real-world system interdependence and external platform integration.
