After immigrating from Korea, Ms. Kim graduated Summa Cum Laude from UC Irvine in 3 years, receiving a major and a minor, while working full time. She is dedicated to public advocacy, and is a supporter of various initiatives related to homelessness, women\'s and children\'s rights. Ms. Kim is a very proud mother to two children, both former avid water polo players presently attending college in the east coast, studying engineering. In her free time, she plays with her Yorkshire Terrier named Vanguard Nvidia.
