ABOUT PRISCILLA DZIDZOR AZAGLO
Azaglo, Priscilla \"Dzidzor\"[jee-jaw] is an African folklore, performance poet, author and and entrepreneur, residing in Boston where she facilitates workshops based on empowerment, creative expression and practicing freedom, and hosts monthly curated jam sessions formally known as the “Black Cotton Club.” Her poetry has opened an opportunity for a blog movement called When I Say Spit that focuses on lyricism within Hip Hop. When I Say Spit interviews and shines a spotlight on artists, inspiration, stories and lyrics in Hip Hop. Azaglo\'s main goal is to create a space for people to tell their stories through performance, blogging, facilitating workshops and writing. Through her youth activism work, community organizing and writing, her work lies at the intersection of wellness and defining liberation for people of color, specifically women.
