About Priscilla A White

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, licensed by the Counselor, Social Workers, Marriage & Family Therapist Board of Ohio. I earned my Master’s in Education and Health Sciences from the University of Dayton, with a focus on Clinical Mental Health 2014. My education was complemented by hands-on experience through internship with a private practice where I became an Outpatient Therapist. As an Outpatient Therapist I worked with children, individuals, families, and couples with a variety of clinical and mental health needs. I know personally how the demands of life can be overwhelming - mentally, physically, and spiritually. Despite my own emotionally-devasting life experiences, I am an overcomer using those experiences to connect with, engage, and counsel others to overcome. Through it all I have a passion for “helping hurting people heal.” I have experience with couples counseling, depression and anxiety, panic attacks and panic disorder, anger management, trauma and PTSD. I am professionally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), an effective evidence-based therapy for trauma treatment.
