As a Management Trainee – Marketing at Compass Group India, my journey so far has been both insightful and humbling.1)I participated in CXO sessions across all departments, gaining a cross-functional understanding of how diverse teams collaborate to deliver high-quality meals at scale, consistently and efficiently.2)I took part in the Lead-Engage-Deliver Leadership workshop, where I learned actionable frameworks to lead individuals based on varying motivation levels and skill sets. Proudly, my team emerged as the top-performing team by earning the highest number of workshop coins.3)A special interaction with Vikas Chawla helped me internalize the value of humility. It reminded me that while I may know more about my field of expertise, true value lies in learning from those who’ve been executing Compass’ vision with excellence at present.4)I completed site visits to 3 F&B locations, 3 Support Services units, and an extensive 2-day CPU visit. During these visits, I engaged with on-ground staff, listened to their stories, and contributed wherever possible — from serving 30+ filter coffees in under 12 minutes at Medanta, to exchanging ideas on how plate design can influence food consumption and reduce wastage through behavioral insights.
