As an internationally trained general nurse, I have acquired diverse experience in the healthcare industry across various medical settings. I have spent several years working in the Emergency and Acute wards, where I gained valuable experience in handling complex medical cases, providing critical care, and ensuring patient safety. My passion for helping others and my desire to make a difference in people\'s lives have led me to pursue a career in mental health nursing. Currently, I work as a Registered General Nurse at Essex Partnership University NHS Trust, one of the leading mental health trusts in the UK. Here, I provide high-quality care to patients with mental health issues, working collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure that patients receive holistic care that addresses their physical, emotional, and mental well-being. I am also keen on developing as a leader and undergoing a leadership programme called ‘RISE’ which stands for: Resilience, Intelligence, Strength and Excellence.
