Working as Senior Engineer in Glintech Consultancy at our client site 110 KV Believers Church Medical College Substation. Supervised the operation and maintenance of 110 kV Substation, 11kV Substations, Battery banks, Diesel Generators, Solar panels, Inverters, Ring Main Units (RMU) etc. Organised and managed spare equipment’s, tools, components, safety items etc. Established regular contact with client-side Electrical Engineers for the efficient power distribution. Established regular contact with 110 kV supply providers (KSEB officials) for the efficient power distribution. Supervised relay testing and power equipment’s testing and ensured each value are within required limit. Supervised installation and assembly of Power equipment’s, control and relay panel components and 11 breakers etc. Designed, developed and reviewed electrical schematic diagrams, control wirings etc. Developed ideas for reducing the power consumption and to increase the efficiency of the entire system. Worked on different types of relays, transformers, control circuits, breakers, isolators etc.Conducted routine inspections and preventive maintenance as per schedule to identify and address potential issues before they could affect the systems performance. Maintained detailed records of maintenance activities, system performance, and any issues encountered. Provided technical guidance and training to technicians and other staffs on proper maintenance procedures and safety protocols. Responded to emergency situations, such as system failures or safety incidents, to minimize downtime and ensure safety. Assisted in addressing any concerns or questions from the client regarding the substation’s operation and maintenance. Prepared and presented Monthly reports and daily reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and any issues to senior management.
