I teach and do research in microbial ecology, with a focus on diverse single-celled fungi (yeasts). My research program focuses on the ecological roles yeasts play in natural environments. I teach Microbiology, Biostatistics, Introductory Biology, Microbial Evolution, Research Experience in Biology, and Senior Seminar in the Biology of Sex. I also love R and improving my coding and statistical skills.
