Core Responsibilities:Delivering fully remote infrastructure support with field engineering duties, including nationwide travel for new school site deployments (18 sites planned).Acting as a key liaison between Service Desk and Infrastructure teams, ensuring smooth operations and escalation management.Supporting and deploying Cisco Meraki networking solutions and Cisco Umbrella for secure, scalable connectivity across multiple locations.Taking ownership of AvePoint for Microsoft 365 governance, including daily backup validation and data integrity checks.Maintaining and optimising network infrastructure to ensure up time, security, and performance.Providing technical support for hardware/software roll outs, cloud services, and infrastructure setup for new organisational services.Security & Compliance:Ensuring IT security standards are met, including firewall configurations, access control, and secure network protocols.Assisting with the roll out of technologies aligned to long-term IT strategy and digital transformation goals.Collaboration & Growth:Working cross-functionally to support infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, and cloud-first initiatives.Expanding skill set in cloud governance and endpoint management (Microsoft Intune) to support future strategic goals.
