AI with Saturation Genome EditingAs a postdoctoral fellow at Wellcome Sanger Institute, I am training interpretable foundation genomic language models (gLMs) to inform lab experiments. We are using the dense nucleotide resolution map of the functional activity of haplotype cells – generated using saturation genome editing experiments – to dissect the activity patterns of trained genomic language models and find commonalities in different genomic regions to prioritise the next set of lab experiments.
