In my current role at Galland Henning Nopak I oversee the operations and supply chain departments consisting of 4 professionals that include operations and warehouse supervisors, manufacturing engineering manager and production scheduler. Working closely with the President of the company on strategies to grow the business and cut costs. My team and I work closely with sales and design engineering to ensure customer satisfaction. I developed KPI’s for operations and supply chain and report out weekly to the president of the company and biweekly to the owners of the company.In my final role with Cree Lighting, I am the Global Demand Planning Manager. I oversaw a team of 13 professionals in roles that include production planning, exception resolution, and forecasting. My team is the driving force in the facility, communicating with all departments what is needed to satisfy our customers. This includes communicating with the buying team about component shortages, working closely with customer service to push out and pull in order dates, and plan when orders will be run and completed for shipping. I developed and continue to manage the current version of our SIOP meetings to share with Senior Leadership on a biweekly basis.In my previous roles within Cree Lighting, I was a Production Management Professional in a large multiline facility. As manager of the production facility, I oversee a 3-shift operation driving Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory KPI’s. I manage a team of 8 production supervisors to include the manager of production planning and 2 production coordinator assistants reporting directly to me and a team of over 300 that reported to me indirectly as part of my organizations. I work closely with support teams daily, working to improve productivity and resolve production issues on the floor. I have participated in Kaizen events and was driving our factory transformation initiative within the facility. I work directly with senior management to build action plans for our Strategic Deployment program and have recently completed a 2-day training on Strategic Deployment with Next Level Partners. I have also taken on several interim leadership roles within the company, as Manager of maintenance and Facilities, Manager of Continuous Improvement, Manager of our SMT Department, as well as having material handling and manufacturing engineers report to me over my time at Cree Lighting.
