I’m a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary who thrives at the intersection of finance, systems, and creativity. Over the years, I’ve worked across core finance functions and change initiatives—always with a curious mind and a flair for problem-solving.My journey began at Standard Chartered GBS in Bangalore as a Private Equity Controller, where I managed P&L reporting, month-end close, GL and balance sheet substantiation, IRR calculations, intercompany reconciliations, and loan reports. A unique part of my role was supporting the wind-up of a private equity fund—a rare and valuable experience early in my career. I worked closely with global teams, Auditors and gained a strong foundation in financial operations.During that time, I also actively participated in cricket tournaments, the Young Leader Program, and weekend road trips—especially through coastal Karnataka, where I found a lasting love for spontaneous travel.In 2021, I joined Deutsche Bank, starting in the Daily Close team, where I led the AQR3 (Asset Quality Review) for Day 1 reserves. As part of an internal restructure, our team moved under the Group Strats & Analytics (GSA) team within the COO function, where I supported the migration of valuation and P&L reporting systems for multiple financial products. I’ve helped resolve complex F2/F3 audit flags and led the India-level Book Completeness Program, a key initiative aligned with regulatory and SOX requirements.In my current role in the Change team, I’ve also expanded into project management and transformation delivery—learning tools like JIRA and Confluence, while continuing to bridge gaps between finance and technology.Known for my spontaneous, creative problem-solving (a title my boss unofficially awarded me: “most creative colleague”), I’ve also: • Been Runner-up in DB MasterChef • Won a poster-making competition • Contributed to and won DE & I initiatives • Participated in a 24-hour HackathonSkills: • Advanced Excel • Power BI (Dashboarding & Data Visualization) • Beginner Python (for automation & data handling) • JIRA & Confluence • Project Coordination & Stakeholder Management Outside work, I believe in the Law of Attraction—meeting life with a smile, and sometimes a twirl.
