Prerna Rakheja is a Manager in the Antitrust and Competition Practice. She specializes in the empirical assessment of antitrust and competition issues. She has extensive experience in different types of economic and statistical analysis involving alleged collusion, monopolization, and competitive risk assessment of potential mergers. Her experience also spans a wide range of industries, including media, airlines, freight, food, oil and gas, concrete, and finance. Dr. Rakheja has worked closely with testifying experts through all phases of litigation, and with leading law firms in the risk assessment mergers. She received her PhD in Economics from Johns Hopkins University, where she taught graduate and undergraduate courses in game theory, finance, and microeconomic theory. Her doctoral research focused on better understanding decision making of individuals nearing retirement in different economic settings.
