A seasoned academic and industry professional, Dr. Prem Sankar C is a Ph.D. in Futures Studies from the University of Kerala. With a triple master\'s degree in MBA, MTech, and MPhil, and over 4 years of industry experience, he has a deep understanding of the interplay between social systems, entrepreneurship, and computational algorithms.Currently, he serves as the Head of the AI Department at Providence College of Engineering and Business Management, Chenganoor. His previous roles include Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at ICCS Engineering College, Thrissur, and Assistant Professor (C) at the University of Kerala.A passionate advocate for the positive impact of technology on business and society, Dr. Prem Sankar C is involved in various initiatives to empower learners and foster innovation. He is the co-founder of Waggle Lab, a research-oriented academic startup focused on popularizing futuristic technologies and leveraging social networking for enhanced learning experiences. He is also a co-founder of PramAna AyurTech Solutions, a deep-tech startup in Ayurveda and AI.He is actively involved in mentoring and guiding the next generation of tech leaders. He serves as a Startup Mentor and AI/DS/ML Mentor at AIC - Kottayam and a Ph.D. Guide at KTU.

   As the Head of Department (HOD) for Artificial Intelligence, I am strategically responsible for the academic, operational, and research trajectory of the department, driving significant growth in curriculum relevance and industry impact. My core focus is on developing and executing a departmental vision that ensures the AI program remains current with advanced technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Multi-Agent Systems, Computer Vision, and deep Learning. Im trying to achieving key metrics such as a 90%+ student placement rate with enhanced average salaries, securing a minimum of two major research grants annually (targeting funding in areas like AI Agents and Data Privacy), and significantly increasing Scopus-indexed faculty publications. I normally prepare the overall departmental budget and advanced AI infrastructure (e.g, HPC clusters/GPU Labs), lead faculty recruitment and development (90 % faculty retention), and forge strong external partnerships to elevate the program\'s standing and ensure continuous quality improvement against accreditation standards.
