Control over part schedule toward direct material delivery from both local and overseas suppliers to ensure material availability at point of use (Assembly Line) on time in all right conditions.• Daily monitoring missing ASNs, delayed in transit deliveries & upcoming production impact parts to proactively follow up and expedite the delivery from material suppliers• Handling 80+ critical suppliers from India & Europe and responsible for Production and Aftermarket service parts for markets such as Thailand, Singapore and Japan• Co-ordinate with internal department (i.e. Transport Controller, Logistics Development, Production Planning, Warehouse, KD Operations, Goods Receiving, Quality control, Packaging Distributions, NPD, Supplier Relations & Purchasing) to ensure material availability.• Work with suppliers and other support team to review supplier capacity plans & Vendor Managed Inventory to secure delivery concerns.• Responsible for material set-up parameter in ERP/MRP system, inventory control/Turn over, safety stock, transit safety lead time & overall annual Air freight budget maintenance to handle the crisis management.• Perform weekly/monthly report for supplier evaluation & measurement report (MIS, Price, Material availability at point of use (MA@POU), Quality, Shipment Discrepancy & Delivery performance, missing ASN, Supplier Back Order, over shipping, Overdue etc,) & ensures no penalty, demurrage & detentions charges.• Secure the correctness of all concerned shipping document before customs process and all shipment can be successfully received in the ERP/MRP system. • Ensures timely connection of supplier parts in earliest available vessels, in-warding of materials at assembly Warehouses, UD KMP packaging materials delivery to supplier locations.
