I’m an insurance professional with experience managing complex, high-value insurance portfolios and supporting strategic risk and insurance decisions within regulated environments.In my current role as Insurance Manager at West Yorkshire Police, I provide oversight of renewals, broker and underwriter engagement, governance, and stakeholder communication across commercial and specialist lines, including aviation and national risks.Previously, I progressed through a structured graduate programme at Openreach (BT Group), gaining experience across transformation, offshore delivery, and operational planning roles. This strengthened my approach to stakeholder engagement, governance, and data-led decision-making within complex organisations.Alongside my professional role, I’m currently studying towards the CII Certificate in Insurance (IF1 passed) and I am actively involved in industry networks, including the Leeds Insurance Institute Emerging Professionals Committee.I’m also passionate about inclusive leadership, having held intersectional and LGBTQ+ network leadership roles, and value environments where people can bring their whole selves to work.I’m motivated by client-facing roles where I can combine technical insurance knowledge, relationship management, and commercial awareness to deliver strong outcomes and continue building a long term career in insurance broking and risk advisory.
