ABOUT PREM SINGH PANESAR AMICHEME

I aim to address the new challenges faced in industry through the application of the breadth of experiences gained throughout my MEng qualification, notably, in process design work in various industries such as petrochemicals, food, energy, healthcare and in mining and refinement. These understandings range from feasibility and detailed design of individual units within budgets to safeguarding systems, process calculations including equipment sizing, chemical and utility consumption, modelling in MATLAB, Pro II, Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD and in HAZOP studies. I have also developed the ability to produce Block Flow Diagrams, P & IDs and heat and material balances, as well as equipment and process data sheets that define major system parameters. Being an academic with strong written and oral communication skills coupled with my ability to work efficiently in a team and as a leader, I have instilled a relentless desire to deliver results. I am confident I have established the technical, analytical and interpersonal skills necessary to thrive in challenging situations whilst upholding both personal and company integrity.
