Finance Director: Report directly to the CEO. Responsible for payroll, accounting, Federal grant and contract manager management, and business operationsAccomplishments:• Lead comprehensive oversight of a $45 million annual grant and contract portfolio, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements throughout the administrative and financial lifecycle of complex grants and contracts activities, especially US Government milestone-based OTA contracts.• Federal Grants and OTA management: Financial reporting; policy compliance reporting; managed NIH grant budgets; verified availability of funds and allowable expenses as dictated by funding agency; work with CPA and auditors to calculate indirect rare for NIH contracts; and forecast future funding and associated expenses. • Contribute to executive-level strategic planning by providing summarized reporting and key performance indicators, guiding strategic decisions on finance-related matters.• Develop and manage budgets, emphasizing sound financial management and transparent reporting.• Serve as the business official signing authority for the federal grants and contracts including the NIH All of Us Research Program• Act as the fiscal point-of-contact for key external partners, negotiating contracts, managing relationships, and troubleshooting scope and budgetary activities.• Recruit, train, supervise, and mentor fiscal program staff, contributing to continuous team growth and development.• Accounting: Manage company P&L, over saw bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and month end process, responsible for Federal & commercial billing (T&M and cost plus), processed vendor reconciliation & payments, reviewed vendor contracts, and issued 1099. • Finance: Engage in financial analysis in such areas as forecasting; budgeting; costs; anticipated, managed risks, & uncertainties, acted as a financial advisor to company regarding grants and contracts
