Forecasting quarterly revenue using appropriate techniques & assumptions. Review reasonableness of forecast and collaborate with BU sales, finance & forecasting team to understand pipeline. Maintaining True up/down within 5% range of variance. Performing logical calculation of quarter end accrual based on policy & program guidelines. Manage Unbilled account balance for accrued revenue and review for manual adjustment entries. Ensuring completion of quarterly SEC reporting deliverables with detailed review before submitting for consolidation (ST/LT, Inter-company transactions, deferred revenue roll forward schedule and remaining performance obligation). Participate in revenue deal review for non-standard contracts, support DAT team to gather necessary documentation for deal pack/checklist. Driven position paper writing and technical accounting memo for related topics. Implemented end to end auto accounting model for SaaS revenue accounting according to US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, ASC 606 and company policy. Process improvement by identifying automation possibility to reduce manual error and saving manual hours by ~20 hours. Led two major system enhancement projects which helped in system integration of revenue worth ~$100m. Collaborate with Revenue operations, IT & FSS team for correction system errors & enhancements. Review & approve UAT testing and smoke testing documentation for production go live. Coaching the team, working with onshore leadership to present PL & Balance Sheet analytics and supporting accounting controller group ad hoc projects.
