TDS/TCS Managementb Ensure accurate TDS/TCS deduction, deposit, and timely filing of returns (26Q, 27Q,27EQ etc.).b Issue TDS certificates (Form 16/16A) and handle vendor tax queries.b Reconciliation of TDS ledgers and correction statements, if needed. Tax Assessments & Litigationb Assist in handling scrutiny assessments, replies to notices (e.g, Section 143(2), 148).b Support in preparation of documents for appeals and representation before IT/GST authorities. Tax Planning & Advisoryb Assist in tax planning for corporate and individual tax efficiency.b Evaluate tax impact of business decisions, contracts, and new projects.b Monitor changes in tax laws and advise the team accordingly. Internal Controls & Documentationb Ensure proper documentation for all tax filings, assessments, and audits.b Maintain robust internal controls to reduce tax risks and ensure regulatory compliance. Coordination with External Stakeholdersb Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and legal advisors for complex matters.b Support statutory audit, internal audit, and SOX compliance from a tax perspective. Reporting & MISb Prepare tax schedules and MIS reports for management.b Provide tax data for financial closing and forecasting.
