ABOUT PREDRAG KUKIC
As a Science Leader at Unilever\'s Safety & Environmental Assurance Centre, my role involves conducting research and developing research plans to develop methods for the safety assessment of chemicals without the use of animal testing. I also manage projects, serve as a line manager, and mentor post-docs and PhD students. One of the projects I am currently leading is the Digital Capability Build project, which includes activities related to evidence-based toxicology and natural language processing. I collaborate with various organizations, including trade organizations, regulators, CROs, and Universities such as University of Cambridge, Aberdeen, and the Beijing Proteome Research Centre, on the next generation of risk assessment. In addition, I provide technical and scientific expertise on safety assessment projects in the areas of in vitro secondary pharmacology, structural biology, multi-omics, and computational toxicology.
