About Pratik Ranjan Das
I am a dual qualified lawyer (India and New York) and a 2020 graduate of the LL.M. program at Columbia Law School. My interests include capital markets and securities law, FinTech law and policy, financial regulation and corporate finance. I currently work at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, New York with the Capital Markets team on equity offerings including IPOs, SPAC listings, common stock offerings and block trades, high yield and investment grade bond offerings as well as liability management transactions. Before moving to the United States, I worked as an Associate with the Capital Markets team at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co, Mumbai since 2017 where I advised clients on a broad range of legal issues involving Rule 144A/Regulation S public offerings, private placements, establishment and listing of investment trusts, corporate finance, raising of public and private debt capital and financial regulation. I graduated from the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata with a B.A,L.LB.(Hons) degree and a gold medal in Public International Law in 2017.
