ABOUT PRAXIA PETROU

I have completed my articles and I have passed both of my board exams with first-time passes. This journey has taught me many things and I am so grateful to have chosen this profession as not only have I grown as a professional but as a person too. I have been fortunate enough to have been exposed to the following industries during my articles: Animal Pharmaceuticals, Railway Manufacturers (Listed and Private entity), Educational Industry (Private Primary and High school), Non-Profit Organisations, Futures and Asset Manager Traders, Property Companies (Listed and Unlisted), Motor vehicle part Wholesalers, Manufacturers of steel masts and poles. I have worked in Risk Management I was exposed to performing risk management work for many of Discovery\'s companies. I was exposed to varied pieces of risk work. My previous role in Project Management office in Discovery Health as the Project Accountant was a fantastic experience as I am building the cost management processes. I expanded my skills and focused on making my area efficient and improving the visibility of the costing in the area. I find solving complex problems and taking on new challenges motivates me to be my best. As a professional I am passionate about ethics and moving accounting into a new era. I am very open to learning new technology.
