On 26th April 2018, Govt. of Bihar approved a sustainable livelihood yojana with a budgetary outlay of 850 crores. The yojana will be implemented through JEEVIKA ( BRLPS ). The SJY will follow the graduation approach with the objective to empower \" ultra- poor HHs traditionally engaged in production, transportation, and selling of country liquor/toddy tapper and ultra - poor from SC/ST and other communities through diversification of livelihood, capacity building, and improved access to finance. To provide handhold support to 2350 community Resource person( community cadre ) who will on their part provide support to half a million ultra-poor HHs.Project Title : satat jeevkoparjan yojna ( SJY ) under Govt. Bihar • Providing technical support to BRLPS ( Jeevika ).• Providing livelihood options for the selected HH. • Graduatating them in 24 months while a HH has to clear the 9-step indicators. • Working in RCT blocks for J-Pal Audit. • Targeting the ultra HHs for joining them in mainstream society.
