ABOUT PRAVESH CHARAN
Passionate about uncovering the hidden stories of forensic investigations and their relevance, I embarked on my journey into the field of Forensics during my college years. While my initial vision of being a swashbuckling detective like Sherlock Holmes evolved, my commitment to research and investigative criteria remained unwavering. My expertise lies in the investigative research-oriented aspects of Forensic Psychology, including the assessment of various psychological instruments and mental health and rehabilitation. As a fresher in the field, I have gained invaluable experience through internships at both government and private forensic organizations and labs over a span of 5 years. Additionally, I have served as a Guest Faculty and Academic Assistant in Career Counselling at the Rabindrik Psychotherapy Research Institute Trust in Kolkata, West Bengal. Later, I joined \"PARUL UNIVERSITY\" as a Faculty Member, where I honed my teaching skills. Currently, I am a Scientific Assistant at the Centre of Excellence in Investigative & Forensic Psychology, providing consultancy and training to police officials and law enforcement agencies. What truly captivates me about this field is the opportunity to utilize modernized forensic investigative tools, such as Brain Electrical Oscillation Signature Profiling (BEOS), Polygraphs, Suspect Detection Systems, Layered Voice Analysis, and more. With my problem-solving solid abilities and empathetic mindset, I excel at transforming disgruntled situations into enthusiastic ones. I have developed effective collaboration skills and a penchant for staying organized, ensuring that I maintain a comprehensive database of the most impactful solutions for future reference. I am a quick and eager learner, always ready to embrace new experiences and seize opportunities for growth.
