Estimation / Product Costing:(1400 PN costed < 4 weeks)Studying scope of work and technical data package from customer.Prepare an E-BOM & M-BOM for the FG by reviewing the drawings and specifications.RFQ for RM, machine, special process, child part outsources, buy parts, standard parts Etc.Estimate the cost of FG by defining CT in Excel & create routing thru SAP.Identify areas for cost reduction & cost improvement.Report the cost/component to management provide insights for cost control & optimization.Evaluate the supplier cost of subcon activities & Freezing IR/SL.SAP Master Data Setup:Calculated MHR & created work center by defining labor & machine hourly rate & mapping it to cost center & activity types.PN setup: View extensions, BOM & routing creations, IR/SL setup, Origin group mapping.Identify & source RM & Plating requirement form various supplier, Evaluate for IR/SL update and vendor registration activities.Coordinate with respective stakeholders for cost simulation & cost release.NPD Project:Developing a complete manufacturing process from condition of supply to packaging for NPI Components.Tools selection, CPC calculation and proving out FAI parts and coordinating with shopfloor for mass production.Process prove out & FAI approval for 150+ different connectors FAM PN.
