Role: Classification & Compliance: Manually classify semiconductor products using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) and assign appropriate Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCNs) with reasonable care. Assign Schedule B HTS codes for U.S. exports. Provide global classification support across the U.S, APAC, and EMEA regions. Maintain a centralized repository of every part’s HTS/ECCN codes, accompanied by detailed justification. Gather product information required for China import declarations. Analyze anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) scope on China→U.S. shipments. Update customs data in SAP/GTS, identify invalid HTS codes, and apply corrected code validation duty for import & Export and document the applicable duty rates for all relevant HS codes. Free Trade Agreement & Rule of Origin Analysis: Conduct Free Trade Agreement (FTA) eligibility reviews for USMCA, US-KR, and other agreements. Analyze bills of materials and apply rules of origin to determine parts’ FTA eligibility and duty-claim opportunities. Sanctions Screening & Management: Perform deemed-export customer screening against MK Denial, Dow Jones, and other sanctioned-party lists. Periodically reconcile, update, and release or block entries in SAP based on the latest sanctioned-party data. System Implementation & Testing: Draft, review, and maintain comprehensive UAT test scripts for new SAP GTS modules and related compliance tools. Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT to define test scenarios that mirror real-world tradecompliance workflows. Execute test plans, document results, log defects, and drive issue resolution through retesting cycles. Update user guides and training materials to reflect system enhancements and ensure a seamless go-live
