3D Modelling & Drawing Creation:• Develop detailed and accurate 3D drawings for custom joinery components, ensuring alignment with project specifications and design intent.• Translate architectural and design concepts into precise 3D models using BIM tools such as Autodesk Revit & other software.• Produce detailed drawings and layouts for the team, incorporating material types, joinery methods, and hardware requirements.BIM Coordination & Integration:• Coordinate BIM models across various disciplines, ensuring compatibility and alignment with architectural, structural, and MEP models.• Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers to ensure that joinery elements are fully integrated into overall project designs.• Manage the integration of bespoke joinery components with overall BIM models, ensuring accuracy and resolving any clashes & conflicts.Joinery Design Development:• Work closely with the design team to refine joinery details and optimize design solutions that align with manufacturing capabilities and installation constraints.• Review design drawings and suggest improvements or modifications where needed to ensure feasibility and quality in production.Project Documentation & Data Management:• Maintain and update BIM models with accurate project data, materials, and specifications throughout the project lifecycle.• Generate 2D & 3D documentation for client reviews, construction documentation, and production reference.• Ensure all project drawings and models are archived and managed according to company standards and protocols.Production Support:• Collaborate with production and installation teams to address any technical issues or adjustments during fabrication and assembly.Quality Control & Compliance:• Perform regular quality checks on models and drawings to ensure they meet both client and company standards.• Ensure that all 3D models comply with industry standards, project requirements, and any relevant building regulations.
