   Driving the efforts on helping Splunk customers migrate to Splunk cloud from Splunk on-prem and AWS/GCP cloud environments. • Gather migration requirements and work along with peer Splunk architects to design a new cloud architecture for the customers. • Migrate all the apps, users, data, and knowledge objects to Splunk cloud as per the cloud’s best practices. • Responsible for making decisions on complex and ambiguous architecture issues, delivering the work on tight deadlines, and educating customers about new cloud features and best practices. • Technical writing/creation of formal documentation such as architecture diagrams, technical designs, and SOPs. • Analyzed complex data and identify anomalies, trends, and risks to provide useful insights to improve internal controls. • Leveraging previous experiences, sharing best practices, and creating innovative solutions to push user adoption and maximize the value of Splunk for the customer. • Onboard large amounts of data from the oracle database into Splunk using the Splunk DB Connect app • Migrate the existing Splunk stand-alone system to a distributed environment • Migrated ES and ITSI on-prem environment to Splunk Cloud • Proposed solutions for data quality issues by changing settings in configuration files. • Configured SSO and 2-factor authentication to Splunk using SAML (Azure AD, Ping Federate, and Okta) • Used techniques to optimize searches for better performance, Search time vs Index time field extractions, and settings in configuration files. • Experience in SmartStore setup and migration of data from SmartStore-managed indexes to Splunk Cloud indexes. • Parse and Extract the Enterprise security fields compatible with CIM data models. • Managing Splunk Enterprise on different geo-locations. • Using Ansible for Splunk Installation and Configuration in Configuration Management. • Created Shell Scripts to install Splunk Forwarders on all servers and configure with common configuration files.
